To the asshole of a Diesel Dyke who gave me a ticket in Decatur today "because there have been complaints about this street, so you get a ticket":

I had a really, really bad day. I sat in the clinic for 4 hours. I was tired and feeling gross. I just wanted to get the fuck home.
I'm coming back from the Post Office on W Trinity Place. I'm not speeding, I'm minding my own business. I see a bus on the side street, a silver SUV coming out of Swanton Way and a mexican standing in the street, who I avoid, I might add. Then I see blue lights, so I immediately get over so it can pass.
Well, it stops behind me. I sit there a minute, thinking maybe I have a light out or something.
Dyke Cop comes up and says, "Did you see that bus with flashing lights back there?"
I say, "No, I saw a bus at a stop sign, but no flashing lights, sorry. I did not see any lights or I would've stopped. If I missed them, I'm not feeling well and I just didn't see them. That bus was waiting at the stop sign in any case, right?"
Dyke: "Well, we've had complaints about this street. You are going to get a citation."
Me: "Uh, what? That bus was at a stop sign."
Dyke: "You're getting a citation."
Me: fighting back tears.
So, I'd like to know how is it I remember so much about the traffic and the intersection, then how would I miss flashing lights? And if I did, it was abundantly clear that I was not feeling well. But of course none of this matters to the asshole Decatur cops. No way, they've got quotas to meet, fuck you, puny citizen.
So, she tromps back to me with the ticket and I say nothing. Then I proceed to cry all the way home.
I'm SO fighting this frelling ticket. How in the blue FUCK is it better to totally upset someone who is clearly not feeling well and make her DRIVE WHILE CRYING all the way home safer than giving me a goddam pass for the fucking bus ON A SIDE STREET???
Goddamn piece of SHIT cops. This is why everyone HATES you. You trade in your basic compassion and humanity to make sure to meet your quotas and let everyone know what a badass cop you are.
FUCK OFF.
I hope that fucking dyke has a day as shitty as mine and some asshole "civil servant" pushes her over the edge one day.
May she get ALL she deserves.
